Lisa, That's awful about what that DR. said, but i've heard some pretty stupid things myself. I just try to remember that doctors are people too and they can be just as ignorant and judgemental as the average joe. I think we (general society) are subject to viewing medical practitioners with awe and viewing them as deities. The problem is that many of them have the same view of themselves as we do. Maybe it is our job to try to inform those that need informing, i think that many of the Docs want to learn more, they just have too much on their plates to dedicate to this one little(ha ha) problem. whatcha think?
