Re: first endo apointment ?From: Michele (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 28 Jun 2001 11:29:01 -0500 (CDT)
Thanks for all the replies. At least for now I think I'm going to have to stay on Prime. Between my barely controlled asthma and pcos, we just wouldn't be able to swing standard, especially with the possibility that I may be out of a job come August. I work for the schools as a private contractor, which means I have to be re-hired annually, and the superintendent is calling for a hiring freeze. I tried to get in touch with my supervisor to find out how that would effect me, 2 weeks ago, and she hasn't gotten back to me yet. I can only assume that means it's bad. I actually have a civilian GP, but I even feel like she's pushing me out of her office without all my questions being answered most of the time. I'd switch GPs, but I feel like she at least has a grasp of what my current medical situation is, tenuous as it may be. I figure the lesser of two evils is the known one... which is probably what's brought on all the anxiety about the endo appointment. Thanks again, Michele D.
