Yes, they are uncommon, but not unheard of. I develop large dysfunctional cysts that have to be surgically removed (Dinner plate, Grapefruit & Golf ball sizes) as well as the majority of other PCOS symptoms.

This is why the Cyst in PCOS is such a misnomer.
