I am newly diagnosed with PCOS and I have soo many questions. What is the best type of exercise I can give my bosy to help with PCOS? I have read that resistance training is good in building my metobolic rate since that is what is affected most with PCOS. What type of food should I eat more of and less of to help aid in fixing this problem? I know I should stay away from carbs. Which carbs are okay and which arent? What foods are refined and not refined carbs? I am sooo confused? I thought I was dieting right when I was counting calories and cutting fat, but now I am finding out that a person with PCOS has to diet diferently. Can anyone fill me in on the things I should be focusing on to help my body return to normal? My doctor also has me on Meridia to help me lose weight and control the food cravings that come with a high testosterone level. What questions should I be asking my doctor if I feel it isn't working? Please help this confused girl in need.
