The latter also has the benefit of changing BMI. This is in a BCP called Yasmin in the U.S and I believe Diane 35 elswhere. You can get further info at http://www.yasmin.com After much research I have been on Yasmin for a week now with no negative side effects so far and have seen a reduction in fluid retention. facial hair thickness and best of all for me Hot flashes. I have not however had a period as yet. Best wishes Faye
