What exactly is PCOS and how are you diagnosed with it. I mentioned it once to a family dr. and she srugged it off and said not to worry about it. I suffer from multiple ovarian cysts constantly. They rupture before anyone can do anything about it. I am taking codiene to diminish some of the pain and to help me sleep. I was on Birth Control Pills for 4 years and now am currently on the Depo-Provera injections. Will this injection be beneficial for me? Also, is anyone on Metformin (Generic Name for Glucophage) and if so...why? and what does it do to help PCOS?
