I can so relate to the tom-boyish thing! I can even remember as a kid (I'm 26 now) my mom commenting about how I should have been a boy because I acted so much like one. Through college, I got along better with boys than I did with girls, and I always felt like other girls resented me for it. I've always preferred men's shirts because I have really big shoulders and girl's shirts seem so teeny-tiny. Even the girl's clothes I do wear are very plain and more masculine, darker, more muted colors and less showy styles.

Howvever, I've been going through 'the change,' too. I've noticed that I've started carrying a purse, when I used to just tote around my backpack everywhere I went. Also, over the passed few months, I've started _wanting_ to *cringe* wear DRESSES!!! I don't know what's come over me. I haven't been able to get my hands on a prescription for met, despite many attempts at trying, so I can't say that did it, but I have been low carbing for about a month now and excercising about 3 times a week, and I've lost 10 pounds! Maybe the confidence that has come with this actually working did it?! Or maybe it's just getting older and settling into aduklt life... I don't really know, but regardless of why, it feels great! I'm still going to keep fighting for that met though, because I think it'll help with ttc.

I'm off to put on my new dress to go out for an anniversary dinner with hubby -- one year today :)
