Anna, I just have one little comment: You can get stretch marks w/o being obese--you can get them from a sudden growth spurt.

This won't be the same as your case, but I got marks on my hips when I was in 3rd grade. I went from hating food to loving food and I grew a lot that year. I've had those marks ever since. I never was very overweight, just chubby for the next few years after that.

I don't know what would cause the amount of marks that you report.

Good luck on getting the right diagnosis. Be sure they check your insulin level.
