Have you tried the other BCPs WITH the met?
As for the diaphram... i found it quite easy to use. i might be
exceptional, though.. i remember the day i got fitted, my gyno put it
in,
and explained how to put it in and take it out, and then she said, "I am
going to leave the room. i want you to take it out, put it in, take it
out, and
put it in again, then ring the bell for me to come and check if you did
it right."
so she left the room, i hopped off the table, pulled it out, stuck it
in, pulled it out, stuck it in again, and rang the bell (this all took
aout a minute..) She came back and was like, "Did you really take it
out???" and i was like, Yes... so she made me do it in FRONT of her..
ugh!!!
it feels kinda weird going in and out, but just weird, not painful. it's
kinda slippery cuz of the jelly... but not too bad. just be slow and
careful and don't let it spring loose and go flying across the room...
YES, taking it out is messy it.. you've got melted liquidy jelly plus
semen to deal with... but it's not so bad. just do it where it won't
matter if you drip
(we had a tile floor in our bathroom... so if i dribbled as i squated
and removed, no big deal.)
things got REALLY messy after a while though since i had the allergy...
it was coming out bloody and god-awful smelly since i got a bacterial
infection from the constant irritation... but likely this doesn't
happen to most people. i knew i was allergic to spermicide to begin
with - condom experience - but i hoped i could endure the itching for
the sake of good sex. didn't know that condoms w/ spermicide cause
itching... putting lots of spermidice inside can do far more
damage!!!!!! oops... live, and learn...
one note, i did have previous experience fishing things out of my nether
regions.. had a condom come off once... my bf's and my first time
together,
what a fiasco!!!!!!! this could have helped with my diaphram skillz..
but still, i don't think it's too hard to get the knack of. if you can
use it, think it is totally worth it..
