I have high blood pressure and PCOS also. I take Norvasc, Atenolol,
HCTZ for my bp (spironolactone and BCP's for PCOS. I am only 22 y.o.
and my dr. said that exercise and reduction in salt would help, but it
really has not helped that much. I don't know much about glucophage
treatment lowering BP b/c my ignorant dr. refuses to give it to me. I
also had high blood presure probs before getting dx. with PCOS and
before going on BCP's. I did read on the American Heart Association's
website that PCOS is a risk factor for developing hypertension. Take
Care :) Colleen
