Hi!! Dr's can be so thoughtless! My husband has worked in hospitals for over 15 years (manager of housekeeping) and he confirms it-they can be real jerks!!They can really upset people without ever realizing it, so I agreee with others. Let him and the office know it. I think I'd write the office manager a letter and whoever the head Dr. in the office is. But Dr's stick together, so that may not accomplish much. I had a bad experience with an anesthesiologist, he was joking that he hoped I'd wake up from the general he was about to give me prior to getting my tubes tied. I did not think that was real funny, while laying on my back awaiting the drug. I told my hubby, and I eventually wrote a letter to the hospital administrator (the Dr.'s boss). My husband & I got a call from the Dr. who "joked" and he appologized. Moral of the story, they can be real JERKS! Make some waves, let people know...you don't even have to give all the details, just explain the humiliation you experienced. Best of luck, and as my mom used to say, " Consider the source!"
