To let you know a little bit more about me, I have been dealing with PCOS since age 8 but diagnosed at age 12. I am now 28. PCOS has been a part of my life in more ways then one than I care to admit. It has taken control over my life several times. PCOS is not new to me. These procedures are though.

As for the Gluc, yes it can cause kidney and liver problems. I was on it for ONLY 2 weeks. First week 500 mg a day and was fine. Second week 1000 mg a day. The middle of the week my teeth started to ache and gums bled. This is a sign of liver deterioration. It took me 6 months to get my levels back up. I had to take blood tests DAILY for about 2 weeks. Then it was every other day for a few months then the rest was once a week. I only have ONE vein they can take blood from. Because of all those blood tests my arm has a brown mark that is permanent from the abuse of those blood tests. Good thing? Easy to find where to poke. Bad thing? It is tougher skin now so hurts a hair more then before.

I too am intolerant of pain. Hence why all the questions. I live with pain on a daily basis several times over. I have old shingle wounds from age 15 that still hurt daily and vaginal pains several times a day. Im so sick of pain! I also live with migrains. I dont take anything to releave the pain because I would always be med'ed up. Pointless.

Im not worried about during the procedures because I will be out. Im worried about after. So thanks for the heads up on the after-pain.
