My dermatologist (where I have laser done) says that There only needs to be a tiny bit of hair showing for laser and that it is ok to wax/pluck or whatever after the first 24 hours (or whenever skin isn't red and healing) This is good for me since I have some major issues with self esteem because of the chin hair. It has been a life long battle. Thank you, though..that would be AWFUL to be messing up such pricey (and painful) laser treatment!!!! Katie
