I'm still trying to figure out the best combination of med's for my hair loss problem. BCP seems to work the best. I was just hoping to get off of it since I had my tubes tied BEFORE I was diagnosed with PCOS. My Spironlactone level was just increased from 100mg (been on it since mid November) to 200 mg 2 weeks ago. I had taken myself off the BCP at the end of March. A MONTH later my hair loss began again. I was reading some prior messages regarding 90 day growth cycles and the only thing that would have changed 90 days before was when I went on the Metformin. So does anyone think that it makes their hair fall out? What's this about a glucophage XR formula? Even if the Spiro wouldn't work on it's own my hair shouldn't have started falling out so badly a MONTH after going off the pill. I just put myself back on the pill 1 1/2 weeks ago. Even if I have to give up and stay on the pill I was wondering what kind of combination/levels of med's seem to work to REGROW hair. My blood sugar was 58 before the I started the Metformin 2-1-01. My levels have been checked since then and are fine at the 500mg level I take. So is their any hope for regrowth???????
