Dear Anna:

I'm exactly where you are: I was diagnosed last month after being tested for everything else (including Cushing's). I sweat more than I used to, I gained 100 lbs. in 18 months, and I have red stria all over (arms, thighs, belly, breasts...). It is tremendously depressing to realize that at age 26 (I'm 27) you will never be or feel "normal" again. I can't tell you that physically things will get better, only that you are not alone. You can reach me at al-wenzel@eudoramail.com if you want to talk :-) (-:
