Hrrmmm.... now that I think about it, the one period I had on
glucophage before starting on the BCP
again WAS very brown... just at first though, then it turned red. It
had been 2 1/2 months since my
last period so... i don't know.
I think it has more to do with how long the blood has been sitting than
how long since your last period.
I mean... correct me if I am wrong here, but I think that a normal
woman's body starts to really build the
lining up in the two weeks prior to menses, right? so the blood a normal
woman has would be realtively
new... with PCOS, who knows WHEN your body was doing it's serious
lining building? even if it's been 4 months
since your last period, maybe the bloods been sitting 2 weeks... maybe
it's been sitting 2 months.
