I had a similar exp. with gluc. -- kind of.

I was on it for 4 mos. Before that I was lowcarbing and i got normal red periods. Then I tried gluc., and I got normalish 4-5 day periods but then at the end, I'd get brown stuff that was hardly there......but for 7 or so MORE DAYS!

I dont' know what happens chemically in the body that creates the brown stuff at the end of a period, but based on your exp. and mine, glucophage can do something weird to it..

ps. i was not on BCPs during any of this.
