Good for you. YOu should however walk fast instead. Running is not
good for the heavy and older-then-20-yr-old person. It puts extra
stress on the ankles and that does a ripple effect up the body. If you
must run, run on your tippy toes. Its landing on the heals that are not
good. Tippy toes will also work the calves more. We had a kid that
always beat in HS running. He would experiement and he got the best
speed on tippy toes.
