my red bumpy legs are less disgusting now. i don't know if it's the met or the running... whatever it is, i am now able to get away with shaving every 3 days (as opposed to twice a day, which i could have stood to do before!) and my bumpy redness is diminished. it's WONDERFUL to put on shorts every morning and not feel nasty!!!!

i'm not saying i look perfect now... but especially since i started running, my skin looks 100% TOLERABLE... :)

In fact, at work today, when the friend i had the infertility "talk" of sorts was visiting, he at one point said, "Eww, what's that on your leg???" and at first i thought he meant the bumps... but he meant this scar I have that runs from my mid thigh (outer, right side) up to my waist. I had surgery when I was 4... i usually fogret about it, i've gotten so used to it after 20 years. I was thrilled, though, that he was pointing to it, and didn't seem to nitice anything weird about my spottiness!!!
