Has anyone ever taken L-Carnitine and had their body temp rise?

Like many here my body temp is lower then average (96 to 97 degrees, just like females in my family for 3 generations. I always felt if the temp was normal (or higher) I would "burn" more fat/calories/carbs/whatever. I take most of the other IR popular suppliments but just started low carbing and taking L-C a week ago and my temp is never below 99! I don't think an ovulation temp spike lasts a week. I am not TTC so don't care about ovulation. I've read L-C is needed to get fat into the mitochondria to burn so maybe things are "heating up".

Anyone ever hear of this?

With my luck I'm just coming down with the flu ;o(
