It's not the spike that predicts ovulation. Your temps should stay elevated for 10-14 days after the spike. You can also have a progesterone level checked 7 days after suspected ovulation to see if you have ovulated. I have a few spikes throughout my cycle before I ovulate. Sometimes high spikes, sometimes low ones. Christine
