Re: New and Saying Hello..From: anonymous@obgyn.netWed, 30 May 2001 16:55:45 EDT
Hi Katie, You are not the only one that feels this way. And don't be sorry about venting from time to time. That is what this message board is here for to help one another with their problems. I too have pcos, and I hate it just as much. Though I don't have the hair problems, I do have many of the other problems. I understand about the weight and not feeling like anyone would like me because of it, but I have come to realize that God made us all individually. Though I do not understand why God made us to have us go through such hard things, but who am I to question him. He puts us through things to make us stronger in the end, whenever that might be. I promise I am not preaching to you, I just thought I would share a little of how I am coming to terms with it, though it is hard, and I am not totally there, I am still trying. I wanted to also welcome you to the board, and to make you feel welcome. If you ever have a specific question or anything, just let us know what we can do for you. As for the stinky part, I am not sure what you mean by that, other than possilby having the same problem that I have had. A couple of months ago, I started having an odor that I do not wish on anyone, oh I hated it. I took a bath two or three times a day trying to get rid of it. I tried all of the body sprays that you could think of and the feminine sprays whatever, and they didn't work. Well..... I was using Dove soap for sensitive skin, and now Dial has a sensitive skin soap too. I started using Dial, and I have no problems now. I don't know if this will help, but it is always worth the try. Well, I am sorry this is so long, I just hope it has helped in some way. Keep your chin up, and smile because God loves you. Susan P.
