Hi Lynette, I wish you the best of luck. I am now 9 months post-op from my hyst. I have had no regrets at all. While I still have one ovary and yes - I still have pcos, I feel just great now. I had my surgery due to having signs of endo. cancer in the early stages. I am completely fine now! I would suggest that you visit another site - http://www.hystersisters.com I visited there before and after my surgery and they "sisters" are great! While many don't agree that going under the "knife" is the right thing to do - each of us needs to make informed decisions for our own bodies. I did go for a second opinion - with my repro. endo. and she agreed that this was the best way to go. If you don't mind me asking - which form of hyster are you having and are you going to keep the other ovary? Just curious!

Hang in there - it will turn out just fine - I'll keep you in my prayers. Kim M. At Sun, 27 May 2001, Lynette wrote: >
