if you are not trying to get pregnant. you will have the benefit of birth control, you will also experience some slight decreases in symptoms, and your periods will come regularly (in some cases)

the problem is that some doctors believe that the bcp actually causes the insulin resistance to worsen, so while you are taking it, the base illness actually gets worse.
