Jodi, the same thing is happening to me! I was on Micronor (which is progesterone only, is that true of Mircette???) and on that you take one pill a day for 28 days then start over, a period either starts or it doesn't, and you're not supposed to care (though you are taking it to make sure you cycle!!! what a joke). But my blood pressure was escalating and they wouldn't let me have anything else and I didn't want to add bp medication to the mix (and would have had to get it from somebody besides the gyno or the endo anyway, would require extra monitoring, might have sexual side effects and need to switch, you get the picture).

But, Spiro gave me perpetual bleeding all month to some degree! And the doc said I had to use some kind of birth control on Spiro (and dragged out the diaphragms!!) though I can neither O nor cycle on my own without help. So as of yesterday I have gone off both bcps and Spiro, and am trying to get in to see the endo to see if I can get on Avandia and maybe deal with my bp and cycling issues at the root. I was on Met for 9 months and it only worked for one month and quit, and I got a lot worse. My endo didn't want me to go on Avandia at my weight, but instead of trying Met for 3 more months I quit it, went on lowcarb, and lost 40 lbs. I'm hoping Avandia will be allowed for me now (actually I'm hoping I'll lose even more before I can get in there) and that it will help me cycle (though I don't really care about O-ing anymore, I'm too old for a baby) and that improved insulin control plus more weight loss will help my bp come down.

I don't know why it all has to be so hard, and to tell you the truth, a hysterectomy's looking better all the time.
