Thanks Alisha. I'm definitely going to keep pushing on this. I'm not willing to just go back on bcps--they're pretty much worthless. I'm so sure I have PCOS, I want the proper treatment. I even went to the store yesterday and bought food I haven't eaten in years--white bread, regular pasta, white potatoes. I felt so self-conscious buying stuff I know is unhealthy, but I'm determined to show the doctor I really am IR. The thing is, I already feel gross. I'm all shakey after eating plain pasta, and I feel spacey. I'm worried I'm going to gain more weight if I continue to eat this way. Anyway, thanks again to everyone for your support.
