Hillary, I think you did the right thing asking to have your results sent to you. You can be within normal range on all the tests and still have PCOS. Part of the problem is that every lab has their own definition of "normal" levels. Besides, if you have all of these symptoms, then those levels are not normal for your body are they? Also, a knowledgeable reading of all the tests is necessary. How informed is this doctor on PCOS? For some women, the key to reading the tests is to read them in combination with each other - none of them really stand alone. Have you ever had an ultra sound on your ovaries? Do you have cysts? Have you had a IGTT? If you have AN that is considered a major sign of IR. So maybe the nest thing you should push for is an IGTT. I don't know the answer to your BCP question, but stopping and starting like that can't have helped. Selena
