neither, exactly... i hate BCPs so my bf and i have always used condoms. but i got frustrated waiting for the met to help reduce hair growth and i wanted to go back on spiro to help with that, but i know from past experience that spiro makes me bleed. so i am on the pill very reluctantly to prevent me from bleeding on spiro. however, after starting alesse and spiro, my hair problem seems worse, not better, and my face is all broken out, which is something i rarely had before. so... the side effect of birth control from the BCP is nice, but not too important right now as the bf is in california for the summer... i'm really thinking i would have been better off just sticking with the met. i feel like i didn't give it a long enough chance and now i have screwed everything up by going on the pill again. i think i might finish out this cycle and quit the pill and see what the met is doing... but, i said that before and went and changed my mind. the birth control aspect is awfully nice... as uncomfortable i am with the pill, i gotta admit condoms suck. luckily, my bf says he understands why i hate the pill and he says its totally my choice if i want to stop using it, that he can deal with condoms...

blarg... how can one illness have such an impact on so many little corners of your life????
