i'm not sure. but i have read in two places - one of them being Sam Thatchers book, i believe... - that spironalactone is very hard to absord, and if it is not formulated right, you won't get all the androgen blocking properties you might. i've read that since it takes so long for the real stuff to kick in any way that its no good to waste time on generics. from my own experience, i can say that a month on generics did nothing, whereas 3 weeks on namebrand did a lot - but i had to quit due to bleeding. seeomg as how the generic stuff sisn't cause the bleeding... i kind of wonder if this really is a fact. maybe i wasn't absorbing it, i don't know.
