Hi Holly... not sure if it's connected but I used to have the excema type rash that would break out on the backsides of my arms and legs. It would start as the weather started getting cooler (I know that's wierd but that's when it would always start) and start to go away around spring.. Every year it would get worse and cover more area. It has all but disappeared since I've started glucophage so it wouldn't surprise me if it were somehow connected. Susan C
