Paula, Having got it off your chest, how you felt was probably the first step in aiding you to feel better. We all have off times, sometimes an hour, a day, a week a month. Reading all the posts from people who care so much for you, will hopefully have put a smile on your face, all be it if it was only a little one. Think about what motivates you - you said you had wanted to be a doctor. There is still no reason why you can't be. What I suggest that you do, is sit and close your eyes, and think about a time you were truly happy. Or think about your holiday - if you are going somewhere special. You know that feeling, "I'm going on holiday tomorrow - i'm unstoppable - nothing is going to get in my way." Just before you close your eyes, take a really deep breath in, hold it for a second. Then let out a really deep breath, for as long as you can, bannishing all your negative thoughts from your body. Shut yor eyes, and think these happy thoughts. When you open your eyes, two minutes later, you will have a better state of mind. Sorry - the problems will still be there, but your mental attitude will be better, and you will be able to cope a little better. I always find this works for me, and most importantly (for me) - It makes the people around me happier too. I wish you happy thoughts and wellbeing Cathy
