I had extreme reflux every day for a few years. It disappeared the day
after I started low carbing and I haven't had it since (last April). I
found flour/fat combinations to be the WORST! I used to think tinned
salmon provoked attacks, and that fresh salmon was fine, but it turned
out to be the bread in the sandwich and not the salmon that was making
me throw flames. Hope this helps!
Anyone find that thier finger/toe nail quality has greatly improved on
low carb diet? (I only mention this because nail quality is a good
indicator of general health).

>>Wow Randi, you won't believe this. My husband has acid reflux. He also had been having a problem with the tips of his fingers cracking and bleeding. He told me to look it up on the comp to see if I could find anything about the fingers and what to do. I just happened on this site. We never dreamed it could be caused from the acid reflux. Glad I found this, he is going ot the Dr. on Monday so maybe he can find out more.
