WOW. This one really made me angry. Sounds like it made a lot of others angry too.

I suppose the person who wrote this would think that birth control pills are bad too. Well, let me tell you something. I'm 43 years old, and started taking Demulen, a birth control pill 5 months ago. And the only side effects I am getting from these synthetic hormones are POSITIVE ones!!!!

Since age 14, I was a health nut. An almost perfect diet, supplements, herbs, a variety of exercise. Because of these things, I am fortunate enough to say that my pcos is not as bad as most people. But still, I had some major problems and was getting very ill last year. Nothing "natural" was working anymore. Demulen saved my life.

Everyone is made different, and everyone responds to different treatments differently, and as long as each person finds the best remedy for their own self, then that is the right choice, regardless of what the remedy is. If a sick person does whatever it takes to get well the best way they know how, and it works, then it works. Better than some people who won't try all that is available and instead sit and moan and groan and complain all the time. We should be here to help eachother and educate eachother, but not bash something that may be working for someone else.

Now, I am going to go enjoy my evening, be grateful that drugs were invented in addition to natural therapies, and go to the gym.
