sweetie you NEED to see a doctor. a different doctor, a different endo. maybe you can look on the pcosa website to see if there is any information on doctors? look on here, find specific q's and information to take your doc. you do not need to "just lose weight". you need to be on meds to help you control your pcos symptoms and THAT will assist you in losing the weight and controling your periods. even if eventually you find another way to go about it, you need that kickstart...your bod's obviously going through a lot, and therefore your emotions are, but anyway, you need to do something now, take control!

two meds to look at: glucophage (generic=metformin) and actos are for insulin resistance, which plays a big part in a lot of pcos cases, and Aldactone (helps with bloating and excess hair). they may still suggest bcp's, even if you find a good doc, but i got mine to wait and see how i did with the first two mentioned meds, and i am pretty evened out for a while (i was on bcps for 3 mo's and then went off and i'm fine) she's been so good to me. i hope this helps even a little!
