Hi Amy!

I just wanted to jump in and say a few weeks ago, when I went off the Metformin, I started noticing that too. It scared the heck out of me, because I lost most of my hair at puberty and was like, bald, until last year when I finally got my endocrine system dealt with a little. (Thanks, mom and dad, for never doing anything about it! :P) Anyway, it stopped almost as soon as it startd, in a few weeks. My doctor and hairstylist both say it's VERY common this time of year - we shed a bit as we go into summer! So no panicking yet :) It COULD be hair loss, but wait and see - it might just be the summer warmer weather too! (Or going into winter, if you are in the southern hemisphere. Any change in season!)
