Hi Amy, I recently started noticing the hair loss myself. I have long, thick CURLY hair, and when I was in the shower the other day, I ran my fingers through my hair to detangle it and an entire lock of curls came right off!! We're talking at least 30 strands of hair!! It was an entire curl structure!! I freaked! Why do we LOSE our head hair and GROW hair where there shouldn't be any??! >:( I'm not on Met anymore as the symptoms landed me in the ER after 2 months of it and I was told to stop taking it, so I don't know if that will help with the hair loss. I'm now on Avandia and Flutamide (a "potent anti-androgen"), as well as a multivitamin and iron supplement. Since the Flutamide is an anti-androgen, will it help to prevent further hair loss as well as fight the existing hirsutism?? Please let me know. If not, what else can I do for the hair loss? Thanks! --Zowie :)
