I thought this might interest you. When my cyst ruptured, it was a sudden,sharp pain. I was doubled over from it. It was not a slow,gradual type of soreness. I didn't vomit or anything , just very tender to the touch. I do get those symptoms after I eat certain foods, though. Especially fried and oily foods. I get painful burps(loud & developing low& deep) and pain thru my ribs and around my shoulder blades. It usually happens at night, so I take 2 Advil and go to bed& it's gone in the AM.
