Hey Cindi- My situation sounds different than yours, but I just wanted to let you know that tests don't always decide if you have pcos. I was diagnosed by my obgyn, who compared ratios of some of my hormones. I was never given anything to help me. this Feb. I saw an endo who made me get a glucose tolerance test and other bloodwork. Everything came out totally normal, even though the hospital messed up and gave me TWICE as much glucose as they were supposed to. Anyway, my endo was still convinced I had pcos b/c of my weight, body type, skin tags, periods, etc. so he put me on Met. 2 months later I am a lot happier and getting healthier too. My point is that through my endo I've learned that pcos is never a black and white issue. Bloodwork doesn't always tell the tale of what you've been going through. Hope this helps! ~julie~
