Dana... I recently read your post about ketosis and thought I'd share something seeing as though you've had a rough time staying in ketosis. 1. Drink plenty of water...however, you need to realize that water CAN have an effect on your ketostix readings. Lots of water can "water down" the urine. Also, 2. I found that I was having the same problems you mentioned about getting into and staying in ketosis. I found that L-Carnitine helped tremendously with this. But, I did have to try & try again with how much I was taking. End result...about 30 lbs gone lost within 4 months and still going. Took a break for awhile but I have never felt better that when I was low-carbing and in ketosis. Guess it works for some and not for others. Good Luck to you!!! :-) Alexis
