2001 PCOSA Appreciation Award Nominations As a volunteer-based organization, the PCOSA relies on its volunteers to do jobs that would normally be done by paid staff in other organizations. Each year we pay tribute to our wonderful volunteers, without whom we could not function. We also take this time to honor health care providers who have done an exemplary job helping women with PCOS. If you know a deserving volunteer - someone in a local chapter who puts her heart and soul into the group or a kind-hearted person who serves the organization at a national level - please take the time to nominate them. Also, let us know about the "good guys" - the wonderful healthcare professionals, both men and women, who have helped make the world a better place for women with PCOS by taking the time to accurately diagnose and treat PCOS.
