Yes, I agree with Lesley, Sugar Busters is excellent!

You basically have protein with most meals, and then....

You can eat bread as long as it's whole grain. You can eat rice as long as it's brown. You can eat pasta as long as it's whole wheat. You can eat cereal as long as it's whole grain. Time to make good friends with your neighborhood health food store :o)

You can have fresh fruit (on an empty stomach before meals) as long as you stay away from pineapple, bananas, watermelon, and raisins. All others are fine. If you have juice, make sure it is FRESH, and also drunk on an empty stomach.

You can eat most veges, but stay away from white potatoes, corn and corn products (check the ingredients of cereals), and carrots.

Beans, lentils, nuts and seeds are also great for you.

I love this diet! I lost 8 lbs. so far. Only 9 more to go!!!
