I have been on Glucophage for 3 months...boy that was a hard one for my body to get used to. My ob gyn just gave me a prescription for the rest of the year for 500 mg of Glucophage, once a day...should he be prescribing me a higher dosage? Also, he wants me on spironolactone for the excess hair...are there side effects with this med, also how does it work. He has me on 100 mg once a day.
