chances of conceiving w/pcosFrom: mc (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 30 Apr 2001 09:10:02 -0500 (CDT)
My ob/gyn just diagnosed me with pcos after months long irregular cycles (and other factors). My dh and I are ttc #1. I am going to start my first round of clomid next month and just took progesterone to induce af (we'll see if it worked). I am 27 yrs old and was also just diagonosed with hypothyroidism (hereiditary from my mom). I guess I just want to know what my chances of getting pg are. Am I doomed to have to go thru fertility drugs/tests in order to conceive? I've been reading up as much as I can on pcos and it sounds dire. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
