Of course the BCP's will effect your blood results. If you have pcos and are on the right BCP, then it is probably already doing the job of balancing out your hormones and your hormone blood levels may turn out to be a lot better than they would have been before you started taking the BCP. Also, my gyn did tell me that my insulin and glucose levels could be effected by the BCP if, in fact, the hormone imbalance was causing my blood sugar levels to go crazy. Sure enough, tests before and after I took the BCP were definitely different. AFTER was much better! (thank goodness) If I were you, I would call the endo's office and explain your concern before the appointment. Meanwhile, if the BCP is helping you, going off it probably is not a good idea. But let the doctor decide.
