Hi Jennifer, Hairloss can also be a sign of thyroid problems. Have you had your thyroid function tested lately? PCOS and thyroid problems kind of go together, so it might be worthwhile to check into that soon. Decrease in thyroid production can cause bigtime hairloss or if you are taking Synthroid, any changes in dosage can trigger it too. I agree with BlueBonnet that some BCPs can aggravate the symptoms. I had a bad problem with OrthoTriCyclen. If you need a good BCP that is a little more PCOS friendly,there is Desogen or OrthoCept. Spironalctone can help by reducing the androgens, which can cause hairloss, excess hair,and acne..etc. Lots of good info on the board, good luck...Kimberly
