Hi Mikki...I was taking Marvelon for a few years for my PCOS..its another BCP and it really doesn't do anything for the hair problem, it just brings periods under control. I found it really good...I didn't have any wild mood swings or anything like that..I was a normal person again, which was fantastic. When I started taking it, it was fairly new to the market. I do know that some doctors have refused to prescribe it after some studies of it have come out. There appears to be an increase in the risk for clots and things of that nature, but for me it has worked just fine. I hope this helped... :)
