Metformin questions... I don't know if it is working.

I was on Demulen, Aldactone and then started met. Doc said to take 1 pill and slowly work upto 3 pills a day. After being on 3 pills for a couple of weeks, doc asked me to quit BCP. So it has now been about 3 weeks since I am on met and aldactone only.

1. I had no symptoms with met. NONE. I thought I may have felt a little less hungry...but I do get cravings now often. I take 2 pills at night. SHould I spread them out during the day?

2. I have pretty good skin, but all of a sudden broke out in my face like I never have before. Has this happened to others?

3. I had some spotting yesterday.. is this a bad sign that I am going to lose my period altogether again?

4. I have not reallly lopst much weight at all. I retain less water ... but no real weight loss. If I have not lost till now, does that mean that met is not going to help with that ... or could it start to do that later?

5. Am I paranoid, or does anyone else think their stomach rounds out like they are pregnant right after they eat carbs?
