TestingFrom: Dawn (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 25 Apr 2001 15:14:58 -0400
Hi all! I have just had bloodwork done. A fasting glucose (my home tests have come up 111-132), DHEAS, testosterone and prolactin. Can someone tell me what DHEAS testing will tell me or the prolactin? I had gestational diabetes two years ago, now I think I have PCOS. I'm just starting to process. My doc has been researching from the information I have given him. Also, I have the 'spotted' skin on the lower legs as well, just where the hairs come in. It's not so bad in the summer when my legs get a little tan. As for the regrowth on the upper thighs, I always wear exercise shorts under my skirts. If it's winter, I wear long exercise pants or long johns!! That keeps the legs from getting chaffed. Sams Club had 'silk' long underwear this last winter, they were very nice to wear underneath a longish shirt. There was a lace cuff around the bottom. Dawn
