Re: Slight Concern

Sonn, it often irritates me when people post here with a general question that has nothing to do with PCOS...but i try to answer them in a human way knowing thay they are genuinely trying to find help.

i think that as long as the posts are not frequent, or plain vulgar, we should treat them as we would any other question. if we know the answer...help out, if we dont but can offer support, do so...if we are blatently at someone "invading our own little world", or bothering us with one question, it is maybe the better decision to simply be quiet. others can help out. i am not speaking of ANYONE, because there have been times where some post irrelevant to the board subject have so gotton under my skin, i have had to simply bite my lip.

the bottom line in my opinion is this. we come to this board and talk about how we wish to be accepted by others regardless of our medical condition. but then when someone posts a question that does not meet our criteria for what is valid, we show them the same door we are shown on a daily basis based on our apparence. this is not the type of person i want to be.

love, paula
