This is a pretty big question! ;-) The truth is that no one can tell you in one message all the things you need to know. ;-( But I can tell you that Metformin (a.k.a Glucophage) is an insulin sensitizer that a lot of us take because we are insulin resistant--there seems to be a connection between PCOS and insulin resistance.

My advice is to do some research on the web and to search the archives here. Also, the obgyn.net pregnancy and birth forum has a lot of info for those of us trying to conceive (ttc)--it's more about that than actual pregnancy and birth. Also there are doctors to answer your questions on that forum.

I know it's overwhelming, but keep digging and you'll slowly figure things out.

Good Luck! Cassandra
